You're invited! We're hosting our first ever $5 Community Meal on Friday, March 28th, which is also 5% Friday! The Co-op decided to increase our community giving by changing our popular 4% Friday Community Shopping Day to 5% Friday in 2025! As part of this change, we also wanted to provide more ways to support 5% Friday groups while bringing people together for a feel-good occasion—enter $5 Community Meals.

The Co-op is hosting one $5 Community Meal each quarter on 5% Friday and will donate all the $5 meal proceeds to 5% Friday groups! You get to enjoy a delicious meal at a great price and feel good knowing your dollars are having an immediate impact in your community. Just like the Co-op, this community meal is open to the public - you don't need to be a member to shop!

On Friday, March 28, we're serving our beef and tofu Sheperd's pie with a side of roasted veggies and Co-op ciabatta bread! All proceeds will be donated to the 1st Quarter 5% Friday groups: Meals on Wheels, Upper Skagit Library Freedge, and Help Me Grow.
