Skagit Valley Food Co-op Update: Mask Wearing at Your Co-op
Effective March 12th, the State will no longer require customers or employees to wear masks indoors. The Skagit Valley Food Co-op has adhered to CDC and State guidelines throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and will continue to do so by adopting the new guidelines.
For shoppers, this means you are welcome to shop in the Co-op without a mask if you feel comfortable doing so.
This also means that as shoppers, you will see employees with or without masks because all of our employees now have the option to wear a mask or go without. You may also see other shoppers without masks.
We acknowledge that vaccination is a personal decision, and we respect the rights of others to make informed choices for themselves and their families. It is important that during this transition we respect the privacy of our Co-op community by:
not asking people if they have been vaccinated
not assuming that if someone is wearing a mask they are not vaccinated
not pressuring people to get vaccinated
Thanks for your cooperation throughout all of this. As always, thank you for supporting our Co-op community and for your patience and understanding in these unprecedented times.
