Shop 4% Friday on December 20th to Support New Earth Recovery

New Earth Recovery (NER) offers safe, high-accountability and substance-free housing for women and men who want to maintain their sobriety and find healing from the wounds that have contributed to cycles of addiction.

NER offers a long-term, holistic, structured residential recovery program, providing close staff accompaniment, life skills, new community, therapeutic gardening activities, and a relapse prevention process, where residents explore the roots of their addictions and experience deep emotional healing.

New Earth Recovery residents learn to sustain their recovery, find peace from the traumas and grief of the past, and embrace the healthy, sustainable life they’ve long hoped for.

How Will Your Shopping Trip Support New Earth Recovery?

Funds from 4% Friday will help strengthen NER’s garden internship and flower share membership program. In 2023, New Earth Recovery was able to strengthen and expand the program to include another local farm share program in Skagit County that NER donated flowers to in exchange for fresh produce and eggs.

NER plans to establish more perennial varieties in their cut garden area, purchase any seeds that aren’t donated, and invest in longer-lasting tools.  All remaining funds will be used to provide stipends for the dedicated residents who participate in running this micro-enterprise in the 2024 growing season.
