Founded by two female Navy veterans in 2021, The Holding Space Birth & Wellness Cooperative focuses on the life transitions of women, providing an environment of awareness, compassion, and safety by offering affordable, comprehensive, and personalized support groups and health and wellness education to the community.
The Holding Space is governed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors and have an all-volunteer staff. The Holding Space currently provides more than 50% of education opportunities listed by the Skagit County Health Department’s Perinatal Task Force; including over nineteen different classes, groups and workshops focusing on the various health stages in a woman’s life.
How Will Your Shopping Trip Support The Holding Space?
Funds from 4% Friday will be used to maintain The Holding Space’s current programming, which is free to community members. This includes the technology to manage scheduling, registration, marketing, and correspondence as well as the cost for a physical location.
