Skagit Gleaners' purpose is to provide food, household merchandise and clothing to frugal, waste-conscious, and working families. Skagit Gleaners does this by rescuing surplus food and products from local businesses, keeping such items out of overflowing landfills.

Their mission is to address food waste and its associated impacts on the environment while building an equitable food system.

How Will Your Shopping Trip Support Skagit Gleaners?

Skagit Gleaners will use the funds to support their newly implemented community-led garden project. Developed in 2023, the garden project provides fresh and culturally relevant produce to supplement our other food sources, while simultaneously engaging the community in small farming and collaborative sustainability efforts.
