POSITION AVAILABLE: ASSISTANT BUYER
We are seeking a motivated and talented person with strong retail experience for our fast-paced and dynamic Mercantile Department. Our ideal candidate will be an organized, self-started with the ability to proficiently use MS Excel and Work, as well as data entry. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Must be able to travel to trade shows.
Duties include working with the Mercantile Manager to select and order products, assist the Mercantile Manager at trade shows and actively seek out new products that are in line with the Co-op’s standards, meet with vendors, and product representatives to select marketable goods appropriate to the potential buying audience, continually seek to improve the process and procedures of the department, follow merchandising guidelines and provide superior customer service.
- Prior retail experience is required
- Experience as a buyer strongly preferred
- Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and data entry
The Co-op is opened seven days a week and most holidays. Must Have the flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

POSITION AVAILABLE: DELI FRONT LINE SERVER
Work in our award-winning Deli with a supportive and fun team who are dedicated to excellent customer service. Assist our customers with fast, efficient, friendly service. Be aware of special needs of customers in regards to food allergies, etc. Display, rotate, and handle food based on training and health department standards. Customer service experience preferred. Restaurant, food, and/or barista experience is a must.
Must be able to work all stations of the Deli: front line, cashier, sandwich, floor, and espresso.
This position requires weekends and evenings. The Co-op is open daily until 9pm so flexibility is a must.
