Ben’s Produce Report:
We got our first Shucksan strawberries from Hedlin Farm today,and they are AWESOME!
They will be $3.49/ pint or $19.99/ 1/2 flat.
If they have enough of them,we will also pick up some of Hedlin’s uncertified greenhouse tomatoes –they don’t use anything on ‘em that isn’t approved for organic agricultural use.
Bing cherries are now Washington grown,$4.99 lb,and farm direct will be coming soon.
Black Mission and Brown Turkey figs should be coming in this week,$8.99 lb.
We will start picking up some different plums and pluots,Black Splendor and Showtime plums should be the varieties that we will see soonest.
First local snap peas are in from Holly Tree Farm,they are fantastic.
and…Walla Walla sweet onions are starting! $1.19 lb.
Deals:
