Hey,all you foodies! Join Jill and I at the Bite of Skagit, Saturday,July 30 on Gates Street in Downtown Mount Vernon. We will be serving Balsamic Roasted Chicken,Pesto Potato Salad,and three flavors of the Co-op’s Own Organic Ice Cream (Chocolate,Vanilla,and Chocolate Chip Mint). There will be live music,a beer garden,and lots of great food from 13 local restaurants.
All proceeds benefit the Skagit Food Share Alliance who use the funds to purchase fresh produce from local farmers for the 13 Food Banks and 5 hot meal programs in Skagit County. Everyone is entitled to good healthy food,right?
