I have a confession to make;I’m a dog-a-holic!! I make no excuses for this plight and am unapologetic for the lavishing of good treats I bestow upon them. This is the first time I have not had a puppy to spoil, but that doesn’t stop me from coveting others fine pooches. *Insert here a tear of sadness, and a not so subtle hint to the fella…
My last pair of puppy loves was Mac and Cheese, yes I had a dog named Cheese. Treats
were a big thing in our house and after spending an exorbitant amount of money I decided to start making healthy treats at home. I went looking at different types of store treats and found that maybe I was not doing them nutritional justice. As much care as I took to read the labels of mine and my families foods, why would I not take the same care for my little boys. I contacted my vet to get a “Do Not Feed to Dogs” list, before I started my adventure. There are tons of resources also on the web that give you nutritional advice for pets.
Here a couple of munchies that my boys loved
